Good news! I wear clothing. :)

Great news!
I wear clothes. Sometimes they are better than others. Here is today's outfit, let me know what you think. The cardigan is my favorite part. Or maybe the boots....

Top: H&M   Cardigan: Target   Jeans: Forever21   Boots: MaddenGirl

Dearest Lou has a bunch of giveaways going on on her blog right now! Check it out!

David and I had a five month anniversary yesterday. It was pretty boss, to say the least.

We spent this morning at his house watching football, eating pizza, and basically being awesome.

Random-ness for today:

This beautiful photo is of a fill-it-in puzzle. I'm mildly obsessed with them. They're pretty easy, but they gets the gears turning, and I like that. It only takes me about 5 minutes to finish one, and it's great stress relief. I'm pretty sure everyone should try them sometime. Not to be confused with a crossword. Much better. :)

As I am writing this I am listening to a live version of "Gravity" by Sara Bareilles. I feel like every song with the name Gravity is amazing, so below I have shared a few of them. Don't worry guys, they're only SUPER awesome. Try not to let your brain explode! =D

Oh my God! She's alive! Who knew?
Not my followers, that's for sure. It's been at least two months since I last posted, but when I put on this outfit before work today I knew I needed to write one. I left my face out of all the outfit pictures, because it was not beautified, and no one needs to see that. :P
I got the pants and top at a 60% off sale. It was a very happy day.

Check it:

Sweater: Vanity     Top & Pants: Romy Boutique    Boots: Head Over Heels

On wednesday I worked with David Terry Photography to photograph a wedding proposal!
Rachel is a fellow model here in Salt Lake City, and Todd is her boyfriend (now fiance.) They have planned on having David photograph their wedding for a long time, so Todd contacted David when he was planning to propose. David then contacted me and asked me to assist him. I started out pretending to model, until Rachel and Todd walked by. Then David asked if he could take pictures of them in front of the temple. When they stepped up to onto the pedastel, Todd proposed.
Here are some photos that David took of me before the event to test the lighting:

I was wearing my clip in extensions. My hair is only just past shoulder length, as you can see in the photos of my outfit.

The Proposal

This first photo was taken by David Terry, not me. I am using
it because I feel it is essential for the story. The rest were.

Todd also arranged for Rachels best friend and Maid of Honor to be there for the proposal, so she hopped in for some pictures.

Personals

Guys. I made a pumpkin. I'm pretty sure it is the most successfully artistic thing I've ever done in my life. It took forever. #ProudSmile
On the left you see, quite possibly, the cutest picture ever. That is my neice Lily. She is the cutest child ever, and she is crawling now. I love her. That is all.

Make-up and Music Love ♥

Today I am mildly obsessed with this make up. I will start by saying that I am not a huge make up person. It takes extra time, it makes my eyes hurt, and I think I'm pretty without it. But when I do wear make up, I try to do it right.

What I love about her make up:
  • Her complexion is flawless. I'm sure that is largely due to Photoshop, but it's amazing none-the-less.
  • Dark eyebrows! I think far too many women are scared of wearing dark eyebrows. The really help frame your eyes, and I am yet to see someone that doesn't look lovely with dark eyebrows.
  • Easy on the eyes,  tempting lips. This is a style I love lately, because a lot of eyeshadow really hurts my eyes, and bright lips are so fun!
  • Cat eyes make your eyelashes look so long and luscious. She manages to wear a lot of eyeliner, and still look clean, because she left the bottom very light. Ladies, thick eyeliner all the way around your eye is not pretty. It makes your eyes look smaller, and distracts from how pretty they are!
Here are some products I use for my base, along with the products I would use for the look she is wearing!
Boots7 Intelligent Balance Mousse Foundation
I swear by this stuff!!! It gives unbelievable coverage with out leaving your skin shiny, or oily.
Best part? It's only $13 at Target or Ulta.

Tarte EmphasEYES Aqua-Gel Eyeliner
This is my biggest make-up splurge. Because I have sensitive eyes, I have to have an all natural hypo-allergenic eyeliner. This stuff goes on so smooth, and doesn't budge. LOVE IT!
Only downside: It costs $18.

Sephora Collection Almost Nude Pallet
I love Sephora's eyeshadows. 'Nuff said.

Urban Decay Lip Envy Lip Stain
When it comes to lip color, I prefer to use lip stains. That way I can kiss my boy, eat food, and still look fabulous. =)

In parting I want to leave you with a song that I'm playing on a loop!

Have a perfect day!

I've Been Dreaming of a Hi-Lo Dress...

A couple weeks ago I found an adorable dress on the Forever21 website, and it was only $15!
When I got my paycheck, I went back to look for it... and it was gone... *sad faces*
Ever since then, I have been looking at high-low dresses at least once a day, trying to find one I liked for a price I could afford.
Here are some dresses that I love, starting with the lowest price, and going up from there.

I like that this dress looks classy, but unrefined at the same time.
I love the material of this dress. They have it in black too!

Maybe it's just the model, but I think this dress is so happy!

Throw a belt or a scarf into the mix, and this is fabulous!

I like how classy this one looks.
$99.00

Which one is your favorite? I'd buy them all!!!
But I'm leaning towards the Forever21 dress, even though it's not the one I initially wanted.
